I'll be back next week with new updates. I've been on the master cleanse for almost a week now and it's taking a lot of energy out of me. I pretty much lie in bed and watch movies as I detox. Lately, I've been watching ALL of Godard's films. Then I am going to try and give Italian cinema another chance. I did like Vittorio De Sica's film, The Bicycle Thief quiet a lot though. Next I'll watch Fellini's 8 1/2.

8½ is AMAZING, that's all i can say because words can't describe its brilliance, but i don't want to hype it up too much for you
I took an italian cinema (post ww2) class. Bicycle Thief was a great one. If I may make some suggestions:
Umberto D, La Dolce Vita, Red Desert (fuckkked up), and I can't think of any more at the moment...

Patrice, did you ever see Notre Musique by Godard?
I got it this past Christmas, my Mother bought me a dvd box set of his films and it blew me away. It was such a beautiful film. It's one of his newer films, about 2004 I believe. Check it out if you haven't.
